Lori looks beyond the challenges of today to embrace emerging innovations of tomorrow. As a Principal at EY, Lori brings to market business transformation and innovation solutions that transform the way our Public Sector interacts with our citizens and its employees driving innovation, efficiency, and effectiveness. She pays particular attention to the challenges that transformation and change can bring to an organization’s people, processes, citizens/customers, and stakeholders.
As a Business Transformation and Innovation Executive at EY, Lori is currently working with a large state to transform their public health organization in response to COVID 19. She advises senior political leaders and leads large multi-disciplinary teams across Testing, Contact Tracing, Quarantine and Isolation Support, and Vaccines. She helps the State redesign and implement their COVID 19 response across people, process, technology, and data, including local health departments and community partners.
Additionally, Lori is working with our clients and our teams to develop solutions to complex problems, bringing EY Wavespace to our government clients. Leveraging wavespace facilitation methods and technology enablers, Lori helps our clients understand the macro and micro forces impacting their organization to develop the case for change, develop forward leaning solutions, and identify actionable steps to make it come to life. Lori has worked with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), United Nations Development Program (UNDP), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and EY internal organizations using wavespace to drive programmatic transformations.
Prior to EY, as an IBM Global Cognitive Transformation Partner, Lori launched IBM’s priority innovation offerings in the global technology market, including the IBM Garage to co-innovate and co-create with clients using artificial intelligence, analytics, and emerging technologies, Watson Process Reengineering using data driven insights for transformation, and the IBM Q Strategy Consulting practice to help clients prepare for age of Quantum computing.
Previously, Lori was IBM Public Sector’s first Mobile and Social Growth Leader, leading the integration of IBM Interactive Experience (Digital) into Public Sector, and the first Public Sector Apple Leader establishing IBM as a leader in the Digital arena. As a recognized IBM Government Subject Matter Expert, she was a member of IBM’s Industry Academy committed to driving thought leadership.
Lori has a Master’s Degree in Public Administration, with a concentration in Budget and Finance, from The University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill and a Bachelors of Arts Degree from American University in International Studies. When not working, Lori can be found outside, enjoying a good laugh, and hanging out with her family and friends.
