Joe Cubba
EVP & CGO, Growth & Capabilities Organization, ManTech
As Executive Vice President & Chief Growth Officer, Joe Cubba leads ManTech’s strategic growth initiatives, working with ManTech’s business sectors and Innovation & Capabilities Office to drive business success.
He joined ManTech as a Senior Vice President following a 20-year career at IBM, where he most recently served as Senior Partner and Vice President, Defense and Intelligence.
At IBM, Cubba drove double-digit annual gains in revenue from sales in AI, machine learning, advanced analytics, hybrid cloud and next-generation enterprise. He understands market trends and has deep knowledge of the federal customer space.
Throughout his career, Cubba has launched and driven many successful sales initiatives with the Defense Department and intelligence community. He was honored with a Federal 100 Award in 2019 for his achievements. He serves as a Board Member for the Armed Forces Communications Electronics Association (AFCEA), DC Chapter, and is a member of the Potomac Officers Club.
Cubba served for 10 years in the U.S. Air Force in satellite operations, and served as a Captain in the Navy Reserve, retiring after 40 years of service in 2022. He is a graduate of the Naval War College, earned an MBA from the University of Denver–Daniels College of Business, and a Bachelor of Science in computer information systems from Park University.
