AEgis Technologies Group has named three executives to its fleet of leaders as the company prepares for another round of growth.

James Batt, who has a 30-year career in national security missions, is joining as corporate executive vice president for business development. Pat Cannon, formerly vice president of AEgis’ Distributed Operations Division, has been promoted to sector president and general manager. Lance Cooper, former AEgis strategy executive, will expand and elevate his role as corporate senior vice president of government operations.

CEO Jonathan Moneymaker said AEgis Technologies, which is Arlington Capital Partners’ most recent national security platform, has exciting plans for leveraging the experience, leadership and integrity of the three leaders to drive growth.

“At AEgis, our calling is leading the transformation of modern warfare, and it’s fantastic to be getting off to such a great start,” Moneymaker told WashingtonExec. “2020 will be a year of positioning for the company as we build out. We have several projects underway right now that will accelerate deepening both customers and capabilities in our core mission areas as well as expand new footprints paving the way for our out-year roadmap.”

Batt will have responsibility for overall platformwide growth and strategic alignment to the company’s markets of focus. Cannon will be tasked with ensuring flawless customer delivery and organic expansion for the AEgis’ Sector programs throughout the U.S. Cooper will head efforts related to advancing the company’s interests, competitiveness and reputation across legislative and congressional influencers.

“Pat brings a wealth of mission knowledge, specifically in the directed energy domain, and is a great leader who is passionate about employee development — one of the company’s top priorities,”  Moneymaker said. “Lance is a connector. He has the unique ability to engage across current and future programs and facilitate client success. James is a true business development professional who complements the current team on the ground as we build out a multibillion-dollar pipeline to successfully prosecute through deep customer intimacy, subject matter expertise and win strategies that place top priority on delivering mission success for our customers.”
