Tyto Athene has been awarded a position on the Army’s Live Training Ranges and Combat Training Centers multiple-award contract 3.
The indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract has a ceiling of $378.7 million and includes a 5-year base period with three option years. Tyto will provide lifecycle support for the Army’s simulation, training and instrumentation programs. Work locations and funding will be determined with each order.
Supporting the Army’s mission to deliver realistic, integrated training environments that prepare military personnel for complex and contested scenarios is a key part of Tyto Athene’s contribution to national security, said CEO Dennis Kelly.
“This award reflects Tyto’s deep commitment and support of the Army’s combat training and STRI programs,” he said. “We are poised to deliver and enable the modernization of critical training systems that directly impact military readiness and mission objectives across Army combat training centers.”
Tyto will provide continuous technology refreshes, IT modernization and development for combat training centers, live fire ranges, synthetic training environment-live training systems, home station instrumentation training systems and the Joint Pacific Multinational Readiness Center-Instrumentation System. The company will also support integrated player units and radio frequency range equipment on the Digital Range Training System.
Tyto said the award aligns with the Army’s Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation mission to develop, deliver and sustain testing, training and information operations capabilities. Tyto will support live, virtual and constructive training for warfighters at Army combat training centers across the continental United States.
The estimated completion date is March 2033. Army Contracting Command in Orlando, Florida, is the contracting activity.
