HumanTouch has named Shawn Matheny account executive. He brings over 20 years of experience in enterprise IT strategy, finance, budgeting and acquisitions across the federal and private sector, with a strong record of solving problems, delivering results and supporting mission success, the company said.
“Shawn’s strategic vision, budget acumen, technical depth, and ability to foster trusted partnerships across government agencies make him an exceptional fit for our team,” said Kelly Morrison, senior vice president of HumanTouch. “We’re excited to bring his leadership and insight to bear as we continue to grow and serve our clients in high-impact digital transformation and decision intelligence missions.”
Matheny joins HumanTouch from Gartner, where he was a senior executive partner advising top federal clients on optimizing technology investments and adapting to shifting priorities.
He served as chief information officer at the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, leading IT modernization and health systems policy development. Earlier, as deputy director of enterprise IT finance and acquisitions at the Department of Health and Human Services, he integrated departmentwide IT and program budgets and coordinated with the Office of Management and Budget on agency requirements.
In his new role, Matheny will expand client relationships, support strategic IT initiatives and drive performance and efficiency across key accounts. His experience in complex acquisitions, team leadership and aligning IT with business goals will help support HumanTouch’s growth in a fast-changing federal landscape, the company said.
