On the nonprofit front, the Sweet Home Virginia Gala, which benefited the Community Foundation of Northern Virginia, raised $490,000. WashingtonExec also had the opportunity to speak with National Kidney Foundation Executive Director Michele Anthony and Wizards Alumni Association Executive Director Bob Dandridge on Saturday’s upcoming 34th Annual Kidney Ball.
Our STEM Series continued with MITRE’s Samantha Palazzolo, who discussed the need for education to get “back to the basics.”
We also interviewed five more INSA Achievement Award Winners — Josh Markow, David Wilson, Craig J. Wiener, Lt. William Fox and Amy B. Pittman. The award recipients were honored Thursday, Nov. 13.
In our weekly RollCall, JD Kathuria shared his insight on the topics that caught our eyes and ears this past week within our network’s virtual water cooler, including 10 new hires/appointments and 10 November work anniversaries.
