Day & Zimmermann (D&Z) announced Oct. 27 the promotion of Frances Coady from VP of Human Resources for the company’s Munitions and Government business unit to SVP of Human Resources.
“Bringing a tremendous amount of human resources expertise to the table, I am very pleased to add Fran to our leadership team,” company Chairman and CEO Hal Yoh said. “Fran’s unique mix of talent management skills will provide a wealth of resources and new perspectives to our company. I am excited to see the great things she will do in this new role.”

Over the past 10 months, my lens has been focused on the Munitions and Government business, but I’m excited to expand my efforts in order to position each business unit and employee to better serve our customers.”
In this position, Coady will be responsible for talent management, total rewards and compensation, diversity, succession planning, change management, labor strategy and organizational betterment across the company.
Coady previously served as the Human Resource Leader at Met-Pro Corporation. She also served as a human resource expert and leader at Merck & Co. Inc. and Exxon Mobil Corp. for more than two decades.
Coady has led the HR team for the Munitions and Government business unit since joining D&Z in 2014.
