ManTech International Corporation (ManTech) announced last week that it has been awarded a task order to provide command, control and communications system field software engineering support to the U.S. Army’s Software Engineering Center. The contract, which has a potential value of $89.4 million, was awarded by the U.S. Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground. It was awarded under the Software and Systems Engineering Services contract and is a cost-plus-fixed-fee task order with a 12-month base period of performance and one 12-month option period.

Under the contract, the Fairfax-based company will continue to provide worldwide garrison, exercise and combat operations support to users of strategic and tactical command, control and communications systems. Additionally, ManTech will provide field support for logistics management systems and training support for overseas mission command training centers.

“Command, control, and communications systems play a critical role in the successful execution of the Army’s mission,” said Daniel J. Keefe, president and chief operating officer of ManTech’s Mission Solutions & Services Group. “ManTech is pleased to be selected, once again, to provide software and systems engineering expertise in support of this important effort.”
