CSRA’s former President and CEO Larry Prior has joined the board of directors at Novetta.

Prior is a public and private sector veteran with more than 30 years of intelligence, security, technology and defense program experience, Novetta said Tuesday.

“It’s an exciting time of growth at Novetta, and I look forward to working with Larry to expand our presence within the national security and defense community,” said Tiffanny Gates, president and CEO of Novetta.

Novetta Chairman Tom Rabaut said Prior’s professional background aligns with the company’s investment efforts aimed at addressing a demand for machine learning, open source data analytics and cloud services.

Prior was recently appointed as an operating executive consultant for the aerospace, defense and government services team of The Carlyle Group.

He previously held various leadership roles at CSC’s North American public sector business, BAE Systems, ManTech International, Science Applications International Corp. and TRW.
