Amyx Inc. has been awarded a $189 million task order related to supporting the Defense Department’s efforts to counter terrorism, insurgency and other threats.
The task order through the General Services Administration’s Federal Systems Integration and Management Center is to provide support to the Joint Improvised-Threat Defeat Organization with “sensitive mission support services.”
Amyx will provide systems engineering and technical assistance as well as mission-based research and a range of other services to JIDO. Work will be performed in Virginia and the national capital region.
Chief Operating Officer William Schaefer said Amyx invested a lot of time and effort into bringing the right mix of individuals to provide a dependable solution for JIDO. The efforts build on Amyx’s history of “helping equip our nation’s warfighters with the tools to successfully execute their missions,” Schaefer said.
President and CEO Satya Akula said he is excited to support the “mission critical organization” and “to help ensure the safety of every single service member.”
“The Amyx team worked hard on this critical solicitation and continues our mission of quality and excellence, that every single Amyx employee is dedicated towards,” Akula said.
