ENSCO, Inc. has announced the promotion of Denise Perry, who has been with the company since 2000, to head its HR division.

Perry most recently served as acting division manager of the HR division, and was the deputy division manager before that, according to ENSCO. She has led efforts to improve HR efficiency and customer service, supported the rest of the company in HR-related matters, and resolved employee issues, including sexual harassment allegations, discrimination charges, and disputes, according to ENSCO.

“With Ms. Perry leading the human resources division, ENSCO will continue to uphold our culture, which relies on engaged employees who tackle our customers’ problems in creative and unique ways,” ENSCO President Boris Nejikovsky said. “I am confident that Ms. Perry’s leadership will encourage employees’ contributions to the success and growth of the company in pursuit of our vision to create and apply advanced, emerging technologies that make the impossible, possible.”

Perry officially began her new role as division manager May 15, ENSCO said.

Perry has had a 17-year career in HR, and previously worked for the Gannett organization in Rosslyn, Virginia.
