Salient CRGT Inc. announced Dec. 7 the promotion of Tom Howe from division director to vice president of homeland security and law enforcement solutions. He will be responsible for leading the company’s Homeland Security Department and the FBI business portfolio.
“Tom brings more than 28 years of strong leadership and his dedication has been instrumental in expanding Salient CRGT’s position as an industry leader,” Salient CRGT President Tom Ferrando said. “His expertise and depth of knowledge is invaluable as we continue to develop our intelligence capabilities for long-term success in the marketplace.”

Howe joined the company in 2006 as a division director. He’s also served in a number of leadership positions in the national security community, managing large-scale application development projects at The Boeing Corp. and mobility solutions at CalAmp (formerly Rubicon Technologies). He has a strong background in program and project management, software development, border and maritime security solutions, and mobility solutions.
