Dayton, Ohio-based MacAulay-Brown Inc. (MacB) announced Nov. 16 that the Wright State University College of Engineering and Computer Science has named MacB President and CEO Sid Fuchs to its External Advisory Board.

“Sid’s appointment to our Advisory Board is a testament to his leadership and passion for Wright State University, the city of Dayton and the advancement of engineering education,” Wright State University College of Engineering and Computer Science Dean Nathan Klingbeil, Ph.D. said. “We are grateful for his guidance serving as a liaison between the university and local industry, and also helping the College of Engineering reach collective goals that benefit our graduates and the community we serve.”

Wright State is also based in Dayton.

Fuchs has nearly 30 years of experience as a CIA Intelligence Officer, business executive and thought leader. He earned a bachelor and master of science degrees in mechanical engineering from Louisiana State University, where he also serves on the LSU College of Engineering Dean’s Advisory Council. He was inducted into the LSU College of Engineering Hall of Distinction in 2012.
