On June 22, 2015 Salient Federal-SGIS, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Salient Federal Solutions, Inc., announced its win as a prime contractor for the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR). The contract is in the form of a Seaport-E Task Order (TO) and will provide the Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF) with training and support services in communication and intelligence technology, including C4ISR. The TO is for 5 years and has a total value of approximately $44 million.
“We are proud of our commitment to support the United States’ strategic interests in this critical region and the U.S. Navy’s support of a stronger Royal Saudi Naval Force. We are thrilled to assist the Royal Saudi Naval Force’s training mission to effectively protect Saudi Arabia coastal assets and keep pace with the rapid advances in C4I technology,” said Salient’s President and CEO Brad Antle. “This further expands our Navy training and curriculum development footprint while also increasing our support to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.”
Salient Federal’s primary responsibilities will be the development and execution of classes training the RSNF in intelligence-communication technology. The TO’s focus is split between Charleston, South Carolina and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and will be funded by Saudi Arabia via the Foreign Military Sales program.
