    Northern Virginia Technology Council Announces Winners of 12th Annual Hot Ticket Awards

    The Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) today announced the winners of the 12th Annual NVTC Hot Ticket Awards. More than 500 members of the Northern Virginia technology community came out last night to celebrate the nominated companies, poolside at the home of NVTC President and CEO Bobbie Kilberg.

    The event honors the region’s best and brightest entrepreneurial technology companies. Mark Andersen of “Smoking Hot Sponsor” BDO and Carl Grant of “Smoking Hot Sponsor” Cooley served as the night’s emcees. The judges for the 2013 Hot Ticket Awards included Mike Daniels of GlobalLogic, Ron Kaiser of RELM2, Nick Lantuh, Jim Russo of Potomac Consultants, and April Young of Hercules Technologies.

    Nominations were collected for nine categories: Hottest Bootstrap, Hottest Buzz, Hottest Company Culture, Hottest Emerging Government Contractor, Hottest Exit, Hottest Friend of the Entrepreneur, Hottest Management Team, Hottest Startup and Hottest Venture Capital Deal. The winners in each category are as follows:
