Novetta Solutions, LLC (Novetta) has acquired White Cliffs Consulting, LLC (WCC). Novetta, a portfolio company of Arlington Capital Partners, provides high-end, mission critical technology solutions to customers within the Intelligence, Department of Defense, and Homeland Security Communities and other massive data quantity organizations.
WCC, based in Columbia, MD, is the recognized leader in the digital discovery domain, innovating to apply multidisciplinary high-end technical analysis, software engineering, and mission engineering to the entire end-to-end Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) and cyber mission spectrum. Since starting in 2006, it has quickly grown, employing about 60 professionals today. Its expertise and unique technical capabilities will help Novetta solve the challenges of a rapidly changing and evolving Big Data World.
“WCC is an excellent cultural and mission fit for Novetta and the combination furthers our strategy to become the industry leader in large-scale data analytics in support of the National Security community,” said Peter B. LaMontagne, CEO of Novetta. “Adding White Cliffs to the Novetta family not only strengthens our overall capabilities in the SIGINT and Cyber domains, but the WCC capability also will enable us to offer expanded services and solutions to existing customers. The combination will provide valuable growth opportunities for all of our employees as we expand into new areas and customers.”
Arlington Capital partner Michael Lustbader said “Arlington Capital is pleased to welcome partners Diane Batchik and John Skordas along with the rest of the White Cliff’s team. The team at White Cliffs has built a very successful company with an extraordinary performance reputation in the Intelligence Community. This acquisition furthers our commitment to create a pre-eminent big data analytics and cyber security company supporting clients in some of the nation’s most sensitive environments.”
WCC partners Diane Batchik and John Skordas also put in their two cents, saying “We are tremendously excited to merge our capabilities in discovery engineering and high end technical analysis with the considerable large data analytics, cyber security and software development expertise and capabilities of Novetta. Given the challenges of operating in the large data space, the combined companies’ blend of mission understanding, tools development, and now more extensive mission analytics capabilities should prove to be a formidable force to advance our clients’ critical missions moving forward.”
Following the acquisition, WCC will continue to be led by Diane Batchik and John Skordas. It will become White Cliffs Consulting, a Novetta Solutions Company.
Novetta was formed in March 2012 through the merger of White Oak Technologies, Inc. and FGM, Inc.
