WashingtonExec asked the simple question to top area executives:
“If you could give your kids only three pieces of advice, what would they be?”
Today’s insight is from Christopher Giusti, new CFO of CSSI.
Christopher Giusti:
Each morning before school I provide my children what I view as sage words of wisdom to guide them during their day. Although they may not yet always share that perspective, my thoughts nonetheless focus on a single piece of advice.
Savor your Journey: Dream, Think, Plan, Do. Stretch. Aspire. Appreciate every day. Thirst for knowledge. Give your best. Follow through. Take smart risks. Learn from mistakes, including your own. Respect yourself and others. Build relationships. Find mentors. Really listen. Give generously. Receive graciously. Hug loved ones. Have fun. Smile.
