    ENSCO Promotes Vernon Joyner to VP of National Security Solutions Division

    ENSCO Inc. announced Dec. 6 the promotion of Vernon Joyner as vice president of the National Security Solutions Division, up from the division manager position.

    “Mr. Joyner is a seasoned business executive and technical expert with 30 years of experience in software development, system engineering, program management and organizational leadership,” ENSCO President Boris Nejikovsky said. “Under Vernon’s leadership, the NSS Division is growing and expanding into new exciting technology areas. He has been a strong asset to the executive leadership team and a valuable contributor to companywide initiatives.”

    Prior to joining ENSCO, Joyner served as the technical director in the Advanced Missions Solutions Group of Dynetics Inc. He’s also held senior positions at QinetiQ North America, Computer Sciences Corp. and Raytheon.

    Joyner earned a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
