James Clapper, the former director of national intelligence and an intelligence community veteran, has joined cybersecurity and intelligence-analysis firm StellarPeak Corp. as a senior adviser, the company announced.
In the new role, Clapper is expected to enhance corporate strategic planning, business development and market intelligence to drive StellarPeak’s growth, particularly within the intelligence community, the company said.

Clapper, a retired lieutenant general in the U.S. Air Force, served as the fourth head of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence under President Barack Obama. He also served as undersecretary of defense for intelligence under two administrations.
