Global consulting and technology services provider ICF has won a $93 million contract with the Army Research Laboratory.

The contract is to support the lab’s defensive cyber operations and cybersecurity research and includes both base and option periods. Under the agreement, ICF will provide onsite and remote reviews of network security as well as support the information assurance management office, which sets policy for ARL.

“ARL is the tip of the spear when it comes to national security, responsible for continually monitoring, testing and defending the cyber operations of the U.S. armed forces,” said Samuel Visner, senior vice president for cybersecurity and resilience at ICF. “We are proud to work with ARL to guard against current and emerging threats to its information systems and technology infrastructure, and excited to contribute to the state of cyber research and development.”

ICF Vice President Bill Christman said the company has partnered with ARL for more than two decades.

“We look forward to continuing our support of ARL in developing new concepts and researching, testing and applying new technologies to our nation’s defense,” he said.
