In 2024, Kevin Kottman’s proudest achievement was leading the launch of TransUnion’s OneTru, a solution enablement platform designed to combat this staggering challenge. By leveraging TransUnion’s authoritative data assets, cloud-enabled infrastructure and advanced AI and machine learning, OneTru delivers a more complete and persistent picture of constituents, he said.
The platform empowers government agencies to detect, mitigate and prevent fraud by linking structured and unstructured data, enhancing program integrity and ensuring more efficient operations. At its core, OneTru embodies TransUnion’s idea of Information for Good, Kottman said.

In 2025, Kottman’s team is helping agencies tackle increasing fraud threats across channels. With stolen identity data widely available and advanced technologies enabling sophisticated schemes, his team focuses on evaluating risk, verifying identities and authenticating users to prevent fraud and protect program integrity. As the new administration targets federal spending cuts, public agencies must effectively detect and address these growing threats, he said.
In 2024, TransUnion Public Sector helped thousands of government agencies combat fraud, enhance engagement and streamline investigations. In 2025, the company will focus on strengthening program integrity and efficiency with advanced fraud, communications, investigations and marketing solutions.
