Siemens Government Technologies has appointed Elizabeth “Liz” Larson as chief financial officer.

Larson joins SGT from Siemens Industry Inc., where she most recently was head of finance for the Apparatus Segment of Electronic Products since 2019. She was instrumental in boosting business volume by over 200% and profitability by 20% in the last five years, according to the company.

During her 22 years at Siemens, Larson took on various leadership roles in finance across different units that provide technology solutions in energy, automation, and electrical distribution.

Her career started in public accounting with a focus on real estate and management companies. After joining Siemens, she became a financial analyst and later a regional controller in Karlsruhe, Germany. There, she led a team that promoted growth and strategy for the American and Asia Pacific regions of the Digital Industries – Process Automation business.

As the CFO at SGT, Larson oversees all financial, accounting, controlling and audit activities. She supports technology and service teams that offer solutions in energy efficiency, resilience, digital engineering and modernization for government clients in the U.S. and internationally.

“Liz brings tremendous experience and understanding for the Siemens technology portfolio to help us address some of the most pressing challenges our customers face in energy, automation, and digitalization,” said Siemens Government Technologies President and CEO John Ustica. “I’m excited to have Liz on the team and looking forward to working with her as we design the strategies that maximize our team’s success in serving our customers’ missions of national consequence.”
