Since taking on the role of leading Excella Federal Health and Civilian group, Jimmy Benani has helped Excella nearly double its presence in that market.
In the process, Excella helped clients take on some of its toughest digital transformation challenges by introducing the adoption of new cloud technologies, maturing their use of modern data and analytics practices leveraging AI/ML and leveraging organization transformation practices to increase adoption of these digital initiatives.

In 2023, Benani and his team are poised to continue the rapid growth they’ve seen in the last several years in the federal health space. Excella continues to invest in bringing data and analytics innovation to its clients around artificial intelligence, machine learning, generative AI, ML Ops and data governance. These data solutions will support critical governmentwide priorities around grants management, Medicare/Medicaid, opioid use, pandemic spending fraud, and adoption of the federal data strategy.
