    John Hassoun, VTG

A&M Capital Partners has bought VTG, which was previously owned by The Jordan Co. L.P. VTG provides force modernization and digital transformation solutions across the modern battlespace and offers engineering and modernization services for both the Defense Department and the intelligence community

The Chantilly, Virginia-based company offers a range of services such as systems engineering and integration, software development and advanced data analytics. For the past 38 years, its portfolio company has invested in and helped grow businesses in diverse sectors like industrials, transportation and logistics, healthcare, consumer goods, telecommunications, technology and utilities.

The acquisition aligns with A&M Capital Partners’ focus on government and defense M&A. According to the company, it prioritizes highly technical and innovative solutions aimed at addressing emerging threats from near-peer competitors. It also values businesses with highly skilled, cleared staff with deep subject matter expertise. Additionally, the company emphasizes the importance of private equity in helping businesses to scale, expand capabilities and meet customer demands.

A&M Capital Partners has total assets under management of $3.1 billion and invests in a range of business sectors, including business services, industrials, manufacturing, food and beverage, health care, consumer and retail, government services, financial services and energy services.

Baird served as financial advisor to VTG on this transaction.
