    Accenture Federal Services Announces Executive Promotions

    Vanessa Godshalk, Accenture Federal Services

    Accenture Federal Services has promoted Vanessa Godshalk to Safety & Citizen Services portfolio lead, and Keith Runtz to Defense portfolio lead.

    Godshalk served most recently as the Strategy & Consulting Growth Platform lead. Throughout her 25-year career, she has delivered transformational programs for a wide range of federal clients, including recent roles as the Civilian Portfolio’s Financial Services Sector lead and the client account lead for the Treasury Department.

    “I’m thrilled to take this next step in my career heading up Accenture Federal Services’ Safety and Citizen Services’ portfolio,” she said. “I look forward to bringing innovation, cutting-edge capabilities, and the best of Accenture and our partners to federal clients with diverse missions.”

    Runtz began his 26-year career at Accenture working on large systems integrations for commercial clients across multiple industries. He served most recently as the company’s defense agencies lead and Defense Logistics Agency client account lead, managing complex delivery efforts.

    “I look forward to driving operational and technical transformation for Accenture Federal Services’ defense sector clients to support them in achieving their national security missions with speed and precision,” Runtz said.

    “I’m also excited to continue developing the talent of our dedicated defense workforce to maximize its ability to deliver exceptional customer service.”
