The National Air and Space Intelligence Center has chosen five companies to execute NOVASTAR, including Modern Technology Solutions Inc.

An 11-year indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity small business set-aside contract, NOVASTAR provides scientific and technical Intelligence support services to NASIC.

“MTSI is proud to extend our partnership with NASIC and lead an amazing team on this critical national security mission out of the Dayton market,” said MTSI President and CEO Kevin Robinson.

MTSI has supported Wright-Patterson Air Force Base since 2006 with differentiated all-source intelligence analysis, threat modeling and simulation, and foreign materiel exploitation.

“The MTSI team will work collaboratively to provide technical solutions and strategic assessments to our nation’s most challenging problem sets,” said MTSI’s NOVASTAR Program Manager Andrew Norton.

For the NOVASTAR contract, MTSI has partnered with industry veterans such as Ball Aerospace, Leidos and its wholly owned subsidiary Dynetics, deciBel Research, as well as Dayton-area small businesses such as Mile Two, Awetomaton and AIS.

“We look forward to continuing our support to NASIC and contributing to its analytic modernization in our new NOVASTAR Prime role,” said Austin Smith, senior director of MTSI’s national security division.
