Biometric and identity solutions provider IDEMIA Identity & Security North America has appointed Lisa Sullivan as senior vice president of travel and transport, and Lisa Shoemaker as vice president of government relations.

“We are thrilled to have both Lisa Sullivan and Lisa Shoemaker join the IDEMIA I&S North America Executive Committee as we expand our leadership team,” said CEO Donnie Scott. “Both bring an incredible depth of knowledge to the company and will be instrumental to our evolution as a leader in biometrics, security and authentication.”

Sullivan leads flagship accounts at Transportation and Security Administration and Customs and Border Protection, as well as implementations with leading travel ecosystem players.

Prior to joining IDEMIA, she led and delivered data integration software at Palantir Technologies.

“I am excited to drive our strategy and direction of the travel and transport business for IDEMIA I&S,” Sullivan said. “Innovation is at the core of my strategy and our travel solutions are there to match.”

Shoemaker oversees federal, state and local relations efforts while managing partnerships and relationships with governments, external stakeholders and advocates critical to the business.

Previously, Shoemaker was the director of media operations for the Republican National Convention.

“I have a proven track record investing in relationships; ensuring clients and partners succeed,” she said. “With IDEMIA I&S North America, and the team we are building, we have an opportunity to develop relationships with policy leaders on both sides of the aisle to chart a path forward for innovation, user protection and technology advancement to keep up with evolving need and standards of our society.”
