WATCH: CGI Federal’s Mary Majoros on Federal Acquisition Process Reform and Challenges

WashingtonExec’s Amanda Ziadeh caught up with Mary Majoros, director and chief strategist of the Intelligence and Legislative Sector at CGI Federal, during the 2020 holiday season. The two discuss the federal acquisition process, the biggest obstacles procurement officials face, and how agencies can achieve acquisition agility and audit compliance in the face of hurdles. A common obstacle officials often point to is the need to increase acquisition agility in obtaining unmodified, clean, financial statement audit opinions — which is one of the government acquisition requirements.  Majoros closes with sharing her hopes for the government acquisition process in the next five to 10 years.
