    Pamela Taylor, Share Our Strength

Pamela Taylor is the new chief communications and marketing officer for national anti-hunger organization, Share Our Strength, which operates the No Kid Hungry campaign.

Taylor previously served as vice president of strategic partnerships at Common Threads, a nonprofit that provides nutrition education and cooking programs to children and families. She has also worked with the departments of Agriculture and Health and Human Services and at top public relations agencies, including Edelman, Ogilvy and Porter Novelli. Additionally, Taylor has served as senior director of strategy and partnerships at Partnership for a Healthier America

“We’re thrilled to welcome Pamela into this crucial position and at such an important time,” said Tom Nelson, president and CEO at Share Our Strength. “As the pandemic deepens the child hunger crisis in America, it’s more critical than ever to give voice to the growing need, along with the solutions that we know can solve it. Pamela brings a passion for our work, our issues, and a demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams; we’re confident she will take us to new levels in communicating our mission.”

In her new role, Taylor will serve as a member of the executive leadership team and oversee the strategic vision, goals and processes behind the organization’s marketing and communications efforts. A key focus will be driving practices that reflect Share Our Strength’s core values of diversity, equity and inclusion.

“Share Our Strength has been leading the fight against hunger for decades, and it’s an honor to join this exceptional organization,” Taylor said. “I’m both looking forward to advancing the diversity of our work and message, and continuing my long-standing commitment to solve the problem of hunger across the country.”
