Dave Levy has been with Amazon Web Services since 2017, and this year, he’s proud of his team’s work to support customers throughout COVID-19, particularly those in the nonprofit and health care spaces.
“Adopting new technologies is helping our customers support people impacted by the virus and continue their important missions,” Levy said. “We’ve ensured our customers have the resources and tools they need to keep their organizations growing and moving forward. The speed with which we’ve adapted to this new reality is impressive, and it’s a testament to my team.”
Going forward, Levy is excited to see continued advances in the uses of machine learning and edge computing. He sees machine learning helping customers in every corner of the public sector, from the intelligence community and the Defense Department, to civilian and financial agencies, and across the nonprofit sector and health care. And edge computing makes it possible to work with technology in austere or disconnected environments, such as war zones or areas hit by natural disasters.
