The Wyoming Department of Health, Division of Healthcare Financing has selected CNSI to design, implement and operate a new Medicaid Management Information System.

The $123.2 million, 11-year contract, which encompasses claims processing, claims resolution, financial, third party liability, call centers, mailroom services, provider training and outreach, will begin next March.

CNSI’s modular health care platform is already supporting Medicaid modernization in seven states. The MMIS solution will replace Wyoming’s legacy system and produce a more efficient system that will cut the administrative burden on providers and lower costs.

CNSI’s mission is to be a trusted partner to help Wyoming Medicaid meet its goal of enhancing the quality of care and ensuring payment accuracy and integrity, said CNSI CEO Todd Stottlemyer.

“In providing a modern, flexible and configurable payment system and solution, along with full fiscal agent services, Wyoming Medicaid will be able to more nimbly adapt to changes in Federal and state policies and meet emerging issues such as the COVID-19 pandemic,” he said.
