IT and business consulting services firm Alpha Omega Integration announced it is providing support to the Small Business Administration during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In just four weeks, the company helped SBA process over 15 times the collective loan volume under JOBS and Recovery Act, said Gautam Ijoor, president of Alpha Omega.

“As a small business ourselves, we are humbled to be playing such a critical role in processing the SBA’s massive loan volumes and expediting support to struggling small businesses,” he added. “I would like to personally congratulate every Alpha Omega employee in SBA for going above and beyond to make our customer successful.”

The Alpha Omega team has worked with the SBA since 2014 to maintain, develop and enhance the agency’s Capital Access Financial Systems, Loan Accounting Systems, E-Tran and other mission-critical public web applications and web services.

Infrastructure improvements and processing efficiencies have made it possible for SBA to quickly respond to needs of the small business community by providing relief money, implementing forgiveness rules, and through other programs through SBA and CAFS.

Alpha Omega has worked closely with SBA program stakeholders, large banks, lenders, vendors and small businesses to extend loans and grants in record time. SBA has processed $349 billion in loans and continues to process additional $310 billion in a second round of loans.
