Veteran operations executive Bob McCord has joined health IT solutions company CNSI as president and chief operating officer.

McCord has more than 30 years of operations experience, has served as president and COO at various companies and is a health subject matter expert. He joins the CNSI leadership team during a time of rapid growth.

Before joining CNSI, McCord was president and COO of Octo Consulting until completing a recapitalization with Arlington Capital Partners. He’s also served as president and COO of Acentia and 2020 Co. LLC, and led the health care business for SAIC.

Earlier in his career, McCord was vice president of health at Pearson Government Solutions, where he led the 1-800 MEDICARE program and the CDC-INFO program.

CNSI CEOTodd Stottlemyer said he looks forward to working with McCord to align the company’s solutions with operational best practices.

“Bob has built an impressive track record of leading innovative organizations to achieve strong growth,” Stottlemyer said. “His experience serving federal, state and commercial healthcare markets will be invaluable to CNSI’s growth and execution focus.”

And McCord said he’s honored and excited to be joining the management team.

“We’re well positioned to lead CNSI into the next generation of solutions and services,” McCord said.

The addition of McCord to the leadership team is the latest in a series of new management hires at CNSI. Earlier this month, John Gaddi joined CNSI as senior vice president of finance.
