Attain Celebrates 10 Years of Public Sector Service

    Greg Baroni, Attain

Attain, LLC is celebrating its 10-year anniversary Aug. 28 — a milestone commemorating the firm’s decade of growth and success, on the same day Martin Luther King delivered his “I Have a Dream” speech 56 years ago.

And that date holds significance as the management, technology and strategy consulting firm began as a dream for co-founder, chairman and CEO Greg Baroni.

“I am humbled by the impactful results we have delivered and am incredibly proud of the firm that we have created,” he said. “The driving force behind Attain’s success — and our greatest asset — is our innovative and talented team.”

Baroni and co-founder John O’Neill established the company in 2009. In its 10 years, Attain has sprouted from a startup to the digital transformation and innovation consulting firm it is today, serving more than 100 clients with more than 750 employees across 40 states and Washington, D.C.

And the three core principles Baroni and O’Neill founded Attain on remain: built to last, next generation and values driven.

“Together, we have laid the foundation for an enduring legacy, and will continue to innovate, unafraid to disrupt the status quo to find new ways to add value for those we serve, and to make a lasting impact that changes the world,” Baroni added.

The firm’s work ranges from modernizing a critical infrastructure system for a federal financial regulatory agency through DevOps and agile processes to reduce production incidents by 95%, to implementing a Robotic Process Automation solution for a contact center call operation that eliminated errors and reduced response time by 90%.

Attain also designed and implemented an artificial intelligence cluster for a federal research organization to build one of the world’s largest supercomputers.

But the firm’s growth and impact does not go unnoticed.

According to Manish Agarwal, Attain president and chief operating officer, the firm has received over 30 awards over the past 10 years, including Consulting magazine’s Best Firms to Work For, The Washington Post’s Top Workplaces and one of Consulting magazine’s Fastest Growing Firms for the fourth consecutive year.

“These awards are acknowledgements of our strong and competitive growth, and validate Attain’s reputation in the market as a premier consultancy and employer of choice,” Agarwal said.

In addition to its customer work, Attain serves the community by supporting more than 20 charitable organizations and donating nearly $2 million to date. Those organizations include the National Kidney Foundation Serving the National Capital Area, The Women’s Center and the American Red Cross in the National Capital Region.
