Paul Mayer is bringing his more than 25 years of executive experience to management consulting firm Greenhouse Consulting, having recently been named the new senior adviser.
Mayer most recently served as senior vice president of Navient, the successor to Sallie Mae. At Sallie Mae, Mayer led strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships and venture investments. He also founded Sallie Mae Bank and oversaw a $250 million portfolio of businesses while guiding efforts that led to a multibillion federal contract.
He has extensive experience buying and selling middle market companies and managing mergers in a wide variety of business sectors including financial, government, healthcare administration, education, software and consulting. Greenhouse supports business owners and executives in a variety of efforts, including developing new market strategies, expanding accounts and contract wins, developing and selling new solutions and building company infrastructure. The firm also helps companies prepare for sale.
In his new role, Mayer will focus on work with business owners, CEOs and chief financial officers on strategies related to buying and selling as well as big-picture growth.
