Federal contracting executive Vince Kiernan, former president of defense and space technology services provider MCR, has joined management consulting firm Greenhouse Consulting as managing director.
Kiernan has more than 30 years of experience in business consulting and operations, and has worked with and helped grow small, middle market and public companies. In fact, he’s been involved in more than 20 merger and acquisition transactions, from deal negotiation and financing to closing and post-merger integration.
He spent 10 years at MCR, and prior, was chief financial officer for AVIEL Systems, Inc., senior vice president of finance company Anteon International Corp. (which was sold to General Dynamics in 2006) and spent time as a managing director at KPMG.
Plus, Kiernan has experience setting strategies for long-term growth, building management teams and establishing business development targeting.
“We are thrilled that Vince is joining Greenhouse,” Managing Partner Bill Rossello said. “He is a well-known leader in the federal contractor community. Our business owner clients will benefit from his deep industry knowledge and his experience, which includes leading growth companies and executing successful buy-side and sell-side transactions.”
In his new position, Kiernan will work with business owners, CEOs and CFOs to build growth and acquisitions strategies, address operational growth obstacles and prepare companies for transactions.
