Leidos has won a contract from the U.S. Army Contracting Command-Redstone with a total potential value of $25.5 billion to provide aircraft logistics and maintenance support for worldwide operations, primarily in Afghanistan and Greece.

This is part of the Worldwide Logistics Support Services – Contractor Logistics Support deal, and is a multiple award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity firm-fixed-price contract with a 5-year base period of performance and one 5-year option ordering period.

Under the contract, Leidos will provide services to support rotary-wing and fixed-wing aircrafts around the world for the Army’s Multi-National Aviation Special Project Office. This includes sustainment engineering, supply support, maintenance management, furnishing support equipment, aircraft modifications, manpower, facilities and infrastructure, and packaging, handling, storage and transportation, according to the company.

Leidos has a history of supporting military missions worldwide, said Senior Vice President Kevin Lansdowne of Leidos Airborne Solutions.

“We look forward to providing superior services that help the Army rapidly respond to the evolving needs of warfighters,” he said.

Earlier this month, Leidos was awarded a $85.5 million follow-on contract, the Sustainment for Analysis Services contract, with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency to provide sustainment and adaptive maintenance for nine mission applications.
