WashingtonExec will recognize Kevin Kelly at the K-12 STEM Symposium on March 30 with a STEM Champion award for his significant personal impact on STEM education.

For Kelly, president of CACI International’s LGS LABS, STEM mentorship is not just a business recruitment; it’s an investment in the next generation. He’s spent countless hours mentoring students of all levels, awakening a passion for STEM in young minds.

“Each of us remembers that critical moment when our interests were fueled by the passion of a teacher, family member, or friend,” Kelly said about the importance of STEM education

In a recent WashingtonExec interview, Kelly spoke about his contributions to the local STEM community and CACI’s support of employee passions through matching donations, volunteer leave and internship scholarship awards.

This year’s K-12 STEM Symposium: The Power of Curiosity, presented by Riverside Research, will feature over 40 interactive exhibits, many of them new. Exhibits will include a crystal demonstration and laser light diffraction; an Open Innovation Center, Raspberry Pi-powered cameras, flight simulators and rocket launches.
