Altamira Technologies Corp. has been awarded a task order under the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency’s indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity Janus contract.
The task order calls for Altamira to support NGA in building a single homeland infrastructure foundation-level data geospatial database to support to enhance domestic operational, situational and strategic awareness of the nation’s infrastructure.
For the HIFLD effort, Altamira has successfully completed an initial delivery — encompassing geospatial data on the U.S. Northern Command area of interest — that will support homeland security crisis and consequence management, preparedness planning, analysis and protection, the company said.
