Leading artificial intelligence firm Giant Oak is opening new offices in Arlington, Virginia, that will serve as the company’s headquarters.
Giant Oak is known for its behavioral-science-based search technology, known as GOST, that continuously monitors the dark web.
The expansion comes after the company named a board of directors and a $10 million growth equity investment by Edison Partners, of Princeton, New Jersey
“Giant Oak is thriving, and we’re growing at an exciting rate, said Gary Shiffman, Giant Oak founder and CEO. “We needed a dynamic space to accommodate our highly competent team and support our expanding customer base. Our new HQ will serve as a hub to continue providing cutting-edge technology to our federal and financial sector customers, and as an incubator for new and responsible ways to combine data and behavioral science to help identify bad actors. The new space marks an exciting and motivating moment for the entire company, and we all look forward to sharing new business developments soon.”
