Stephanie Mango, CGI Federal’s senior vice president of Security, Administrative, Judicial and Enforcement Programs, was named the National Security Executive of the Year at WashingtonExec’s inaugural Pinnacle Awards.

In a Q&A with WashingtonExec, Mango highlighted CGI Federal’s work in the federal cybersecurity space, including the governmentwide Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation program as well as federal agency’s digital transformation initiatives as some of the company’s key recent successes.

But she said the biggest success over the past year is

“the creation of a vibrant, agile culture. The whole environment surrounding the government continues to change as citizen expectations rise and our ecosystem evolves, and I’m proud of our ability to adapt to these changes. We’re continuously learning new technologies and new approaches and we’re also constantly adding new tools to our toolbox to provide the value to our customers.”

(Read more from the Q&A here).

Mango is the recipient of numerous awards and honors including, most recently, being named one of WashingtonExec’s Top 10 Execs to Watch in National Security.

The 2018 Pinnacle Awards, which honor leaders and influencers in the GovCon space, were presented by WashingtonExec on Nov. 5.

Winners were named from list of 50 finalists across 13 categories.
