
Parsons Corp. won a $24 million contract to support the Naval Medical Research Command’s efforts to counter biological and chemical warfare. The deal includes a 1-year base period and four one-year options.
Parsons will continue supporting NMRC’s Biological Defense Research Directorate by advancing research to quickly detect infectious diseases relevant to the Defense Department and strengthen global disease surveillance for early threat detection and response.

Parsons has performed this work since 2018, providing the NMRC with scientists who are subject matter experts in molecular biology, immunology, serology, bacteriology, laboratory science and management, field collection and detection, outbreak response, reagent production and assay development.
