SNAP, Inc. has hired Leslie Barry, a long-time pro in the federal IT space, to serve as vice president for business development, the company announced.

Barry’s appointment is part of a strategy to spur growth in the company’s federal programs, SNAP said.

“Ms. Barry has a proven track record to perceive client needs and devise clear approaches to both thematic and specific challenges,” said company President and CEO Navneet Gupta, “Leslie’s expertise and reputation in the Federal IT market will be an invaluable asset to our clients and we are excited to have her join our growing team.”

Barry has over 25 years of experience in business development within the federal civilian technology space.

Before joining SNAP, Barry held positions at L3 NSS, Innovate, GTSI, CA and CSC. The recipient of three Fed100 Awards, Barry is an active member in the ACT-IAC Fellows community and serves on the boards of AFFIRM and ATARC, among others.
