The Defense Department has awarded Salient CRGT a $7.6 million prime contract to develop software, maintain systems and provide security for key DOD human-resources data systems, the company announced.
The company will help support three different applications run by the Defense Manpower Data Center. They are the Investigations and Case Management System; the Case Management Tracking System; and the Defense Injury and Unemployment Compensation System.
“We are honored to support the U.S. Office of the Secretary of Defense and the DMDC with our agile software approach to enable DMDC to operate, maintain and enhance their critical HR applications,” said Tom Ferrando, Salient CRGT CEO. “We have a critical role in supplying accurate, timely, and consistent data for the DoD that allows them to operate DoD-wide personnel programs.”
Under the contract — which has a 1-year base period and four 1-year option periods — Salient CRGT is responsible for developing and maintaining software, disaster recovery activities and system security, the company said.
