WashingtonExec: If you could go back and give your younger self career and/or life advice, what would you say?
Chehreh: I would tell myself to relentlessly look for the good in everyone. Empathizing with people keeps you positive, makes you a better leader and drives performance. I would also say to do what you love without compromise. Happiness prevents work from feeling like work. Lastly, I would tell myself to strike balance — work never remembers and family never forgets.
