    John Luongo, IndraSoft

IndraSoft Inc. has named John Luongo vice president for growth and strategy.

The hire expands IndraSoft’s executive team, adding a stronger focus on strengthening business development and capture activities. Luongo will help the company pursue strategic opportunities that will enable IndraSoft to expand and thrive in a full and open contracting environment, the company said.

“John’s strong business development, capture background and proven track record makes him an ideal leader for this position within IndraSoft,” IndraSoft President Raj Lingam said. “As IndraSoft continues to grow and expand in health IT and national defense, John’s expertise in growth and strategy will be essential to our success and we are very excited to have him on our team.”

Luongo has over 20 years of experience leading and building high-performance business development in the federal government contracting marketplace. He has held similar positions at SRA International, and was instrumental in winning several billion dollars in contract awards in federal health, national security and civilian agency support.

IndraSoft, Inc. recently won a $64 million task order to conduct end-to-end fingerprinting and identity proofing services for the U.S. Census Bureau, and was added to the Defense Information Systems Agency’s $17.5 billion Encore III IDIQ information technology contract vehicle late last year.
