Envistacom is opening an engineering and innovation center in Duluth, Georgia, to expand research and development for communications and counterterrorism technologies to support national security requirements.

The facility will be located in more than 20,000 square feet of leased office space. Andrew Waguespack, vice president of Colliers International (Atlanta), assisted Envistacom with site selection and lease negotiations.

Envistacom is a supplier and integrator of communications technologies and network infrastructures for U.S. military customers, including fixed and mobile satellite systems used in remote and austere locations. The company also provides cybersecurity solutions and services.

“Envistacom’s continued growth is a result of being responsive to our customers, combining technology with our subject-matter expertise to help them solve their problems and drive mission success,” said Alyssa Carson, Envistacom president and founder. “A new and dedicated engineering facility is key to furthering our track record of innovation in technology development and its application to meet customer needs as they face rising global threats.”
