As WashingtonExec celebrated its fifth year in business at Congressional Country Club, Rick White, Chief Information Officer for Sotera Defense Solutions, was named Vice Chairperson of the WashingtonExec Big Data Council.
White will join Matt Addington, Vice President and Director of Applied Domains at Giant Oak, in leading one of WashingtonExec’s founding programs. The Big Data Council meets with federal executives in intimate and non-attribution discussions in order to exchange best practices, identify mission challenges, and discuss what is needed from the private sector.
Rick White has over 35 years of experience working in national security. Prior to working at Sotera, he worked for the U.S Navy, Gartner Federal Consulting group, and Wyle Information Systems. At Sotera White is responsible for architecting and implementing industry-leading IT solutions to enhance the company’s operations. He leads the development of innovative and differentiated solutions to assist Sotera’s customers in their mission related information and technology challenges.
“It’s an honor to name Rick White as Vice Chairman of the Big Data Council. WashingtonExec is excited to work more intimately with Rick in growing and continuing to move this Council forward,” said JD Kathuria, CEO of WashingtonExec.
