It was announced by Washington, D.C.-based PFP Cybersecurity that it has added three members to its Board of Advisors and one member to its Board of Directors. With the addition of these individuals PFP Cybersecurity looks to achieve its objective of providing affordable and scalable solutions for large IoT deployments.
Joining the PFP Board of Directors will be John Czupak. Czupak is the CEO of ThreatQuotient and former Senior Vice President Corporate and Business Development then General Manager of Cisco Advanced Malware Protection.
Dave Merkel, Todd Headley and Robert D. Rodriguez will join the Board of Advisors. Merkel, a 20-year cyber security practitioner and former CTO at FireEye and Mandiant. Headley is the former CFO at Sourcefire and Rodriguez is the Chairman and Founder of the Security Innovation Network (SINET).
Merkel said, “The ability to identify anomalies and cyber attacks through power profiling is groundbreaking technology and will allow PFP to provide protection in underserved markets. For example, the Internet of Things, protecting today’s modern vehicles, on-chip protections for embedded devices – the potential for PFP is huge.”
