LogRhythm announced Dec. 16 that the company has named Daniel Wilbricht as Senior Director of Federal Sales. Wilbricht will be responsible for managing the alignment and execution of product, marketing, sales, service, support and channels to optimize the company’s success in the U.S. federal market.

“Dan comes to us with a thorough understanding of the Federal sector and a demonstrated commitment to a wide range of roles within that sector, including consulting and software product marketing and sales,” LogRhythm Vice President of Americas Sales Jon Bickford said. “He will be a critical voice as we continue to strengthen our partnerships with government agencies who are working to defend their networks and stay ahead of an ever-changing landscape of compliance requirements and cyber security threats.”

Wilbricht brings 20 years of experience in the intelligence community. He has held various sales and sales management positions at Autonomy, Stellent and Eprise. Most recently Wilbricht served as Senior Director of the Department of Defense and National Security Programs at Dell. He was also the regional manager for intelligence programs at Red Hat and as the Federal Director at Appistry.

“I am excited to be joining a company that is at the forefront of cybersecurity,” Wilbricht said. “By empowering more Federal agencies with LogRhythm’s industry-leading security intelligence and analytics solutions, we will continue to make a material difference in securing our nation and our people.”
